Types of offered work : Beta reading and/or accuracy picking

Exemples of work: I've beta'd multiple works ranging from one-shots to Big Bang fics during my time in fandom, including for Marvel Trumps Hate and Fandom Trumps Hate auctions.

Fandom(s): If I am not familiar with the canon or you are requesting an original work beta, I can edit for SPaG/copyediting, dialogue, internal continuity and sentence flow, as well as leave cheer-reading comments and feedback if requested.

Whether I can check for canon-compliance and characterisation will depend on my familiarity with the source material.

I've also seen all the Star Wars films and read some DC and Marvel comics. This is not a complete list, but hopefully gives you enough to go on.

Length, size, scope, etc: I will beta read up to 50K of fic/original work. This can be multiple works that add up to 50K altogether, or one work up to 50K in length.

If you're looking for a fandom that isn't in my sign up, feel free to get in touch, as it's not an exhaustive list! Chances are that I will be happy to beta for you even if I'm going in canon-blind (or if it's a short canon I might be able to get caught up), unless your work hits my Do Not Wants.

Especially interested in creating...: Some tropes I like:
friendship/platonic, pre-slash, established relationship, slow burn, genderswap, identity porn/secret identities/disguises of all kinds, found family, fake relationship, relationship of convenience, hurt/comfort, role reversals, worldbuilding, teamwork, comedic misunderstandings, non-sexual intimacy, competency, touch starvation, clothes sharing, slow burn, relationship where the other is secretly a pseudo-villain, enemies/friends to lovers, morally grey or liminal characters, self-rescues, outsider POV. Others things, too :)

Some settings I like:
canon compliant, post-canon and pre-canon speculation, what-if/canon divergent, explorations of missing scenes, canon-adjacent, multiverse, crossovers/fusions, AUs (Spies/secret agent/detective, magic, sci-fi, steampunk, pirates, space, etc)

Unwilling to create: Reader-insert, noncon, kink, A/B/O, ageplay, infidelity, pregnancy or mpreg as a major theme, underage sex, mentor/mentee romantic relationship, villain/hero romantic relationships such as Thanos/Tony, incest, disrespectful treatment/permanent disempowerment of marginalised characters, character bashing/demonising (critical is fine, though!), glorified *isms, high school AU, horror (the genre).

While I don’t mind sex being part of your fic (I can read around it), I don’t feel that I can offer any advice on writing it.
