Deadline extension
Jun. 16th, 2023 09:03 pmIn light of the recent happenings with the OTW/Ao3, the deadline for works has been pushed back to July 21 2023 21:59 UTC so creators can decide on an alternative hosting solution if so desired.

1 week remaining + Currency/Donation info
May. 24th, 2022 01:16 pmThere is a week left until bidding closes on May 30! We'll be putting up a countdown closer to the deadline so you can be sure what time that is for you. If you haven't browsed the offers yet, the list of fandoms/mediums/participants is on the tags page.
For now, we have a few things to keep in mind:
* Currency: This auction is in Euros! If you need to convert Euros to your currency to get an estimate of your bid, you can use a converter.
* Bids made in dollars will be converted into Euros. If a winning bid in dollars doesn't meet the minimum bid in Euros, the high bidder will be contacted about that before proceeding. If you have made a bid in dollars and want this corrected to Euros ahead of time, let us know, and we can adjust it on the bid spreadsheet. (Please state if you want it changed to Euros or actually converted - ex. $10 changed to 10 EUR, or $10 converted to 9.3 EUR.)
* If you are planning to donate via bank transfer or credit card to an org within Ukraine: Check with your bank or credit card provider beforehand to ensure that your donation won't be flagged/blocked as an irregular transaction. We have mainly been hearing about this from North Americans trying to donate to orgs within Ukraine. Some of the orgs on our list are based in the USA or internationally if you prefer to avoid this issue.
* If you are planning to donate with Visa/Mastercard gift card: Check the card's policies; some international transactions may be blocked. The auction's Canadian moderator had success donating to Polish Humanitarian Action with a Visa gift card, but was blocked from others on our list, including US orgs. (US-based users donating to US orgs with gift cards may not have this problem, but the moderators can not confirm.)
